About Us:

Bane Bulldogs is proudly owned by Jimmy Bane and co-owned by Will Clayton, and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, along the eastern benches of the Wasatch Mountains.

Our journey with Bulldogs began in 2015 with our first Bulldog, a rescue through the Bulldog Club of Utah Rescue. While we had always been passionate dog lovers, our prior experience was primarily with toy breeds. Growing up, Jimmy had always dreamed of owning a Bulldog, and it didn’t take long for both of us to fall in love with the breed.

With a commitment to doing things the right way, we spent nearly two years researching responsible and ethical breeders before welcoming our first Bulldog, Bert, into our home. Shortly thereafter, Daisy joined our family, followed by Parley James, Moon, and others who have each played a special role in our program.

Through conversations with our breeder and time spent observing handlers at local shows, we discovered a passion for the sport of conformation. That passion quickly turned into dedication. We joined the Bulldog Club of America and began actively showing—and we’ve been hooked ever since.

Today, we are proud to serve as officers of the Bulldog Club of Utah. Jimmy currently holds the position of President, while Will serves as a Board Member and Trophy Chairperson. We are deeply committed to our local Bulldog community and actively participate in club meetings, events, and educational efforts throughout the Salt Lake City area. Will also maintains the Bulldog Club of Utah’s website and manages its Facebook presence.

At Bane Bulldogs, our focus is on preserving the integrity of the breed through responsible breeding, active participation in the show ring, and ongoing education.

Our Mission

Our mission is not only to present and showcase our Bulldogs, but also to educate and support those considering adding a Bulldog to their family. We are committed to helping prospective owners make informed decisions by providing guidance on responsible ownership, breed-specific health, and proper care.

We also strive to connect individuals with reputable resources and Bulldog clubs—both locally and nationally—as a way to build community, share knowledge, and foster lasting relationships within the breed.

We invite you to explore our website for helpful information on Bulldog health, care, and what to expect when welcoming one of these incredible dogs into your home.
